		<description>I like the idea of studying popular music and society...we study other artistic outlets and their reaction to/how they cause reaction in society...but it seems like putting &quot;the Beatles&quot; at the front of the degree course title is just a ploy to garner interest in the school and the programme. That cheapens both the artistic impact of the music of The Beatles by trying to quantify it from personal experience into a unifiable &quot;theory&quot; and it cheapens the morals of higher education by opening the gates to potentially allow for this kind of thing to spread...what&#039;s next? &quot;Jessica Simpson, popular Music, and society&quot;?</description>
